Truluv Posted August 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Someone told me that many shops and restaurants will be still be open on the Sunday we are in port on Mykonos, particularly in the summer high season. We'll be there in early October, so I'm hoping for the best. We have a lot of excursions booked, but I would also like to visit some Greek Orthodox churches during our cruise - perhaps even attend a service, if possible. (I'm not Greek, but I am Orthodox.) Has anyone noted if the churches welcome visitors? In addition to Mykonos, we'll be visiting Santorini, Crete, Chania and Athens.

rbolano Posted August 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2019 In the tourist areas and especially in Mykonos, Sunday is a normal working day for shops and restaurants. You can just go into a church and participate in the service.
