Charging a scooter

This is first time we will need an electric scooter when cruising. How do u charge it. We r using carnival and will have one outlet. Will we overload the outlet if we charge the battery with it. Thank u in advance

There will be a 220/240v outlet in the cabin, usually right next to the 110 outlet.  The scooter will likely be dual voltage, so all you would need is a plug adapter.  Most of them are EU type outlets, but I know of at least a couple that are UK outlets (Fascination and Fantasy).  EM

Even a charger rated at 5 amps (not something you take as a portable charger), only draws less than 2 amps of input current (120v), so on a 15 or 20 amp circuit in your cabin, you will be fine.  Using the 220v outlet will draw even less current than the 120v outlet.
