Brest to Quimper

My husband and I are cruising on the 11th of April and one of the stops is Brest France.  I’m not seeing many good things about Brest, but there is an excursion offered going to Quimper.  Has anyone been to either place and if so, would you mind sharing what you did and how you liked it.  Would you do it over again if you had the chance!  Thanks so much!
