Cash Machine Onboard

I am intending to use the cash machine onboard the Quest to get some dollars.

Does anyone know if there is a cash limit and any other helpful information such as does it usually work?  Thanks...

I recalling seeing what we would call an ATM (automatic teller machine), but I imagine the fees are exorbitant. Probably  better to hit a cash machine shore-side before boarding or at a port perhaps.

 

That being said, in the USA, there are a number of no-fee bank cards for international money cash machine withdraws, not sure what you can find in London/UK.

I don't remember the fees being exorbitant onboard Quest, and I used the ATM several times.

I can’t remember the limit.  I have a feeling it is $300 per day.  I know I have taken out $200 no problem.  The fee is a flat $6.50 per withdrawal.  The rate of exchange is determined by your bank and won’t be as good as if you used an ATM on land, but it’s convenient.  I’ve not had an issue with it working. It’s always been stocked and well maintained, but does rely on satellite connection so if that goes down at any stage then the machine will too.

I've had problems using the onboard ATMs (I'm from UK). I would most definitely take dollars with you - do not rely on the ATM.
