Emergency muster

Recommended Posts

We are booked on Discovery sailing from Corfu in October. Our flight leaves UK pre dawn, so will presumably be on the ship around lunchtime. As we do not sail until 23.00, will we have time to visit Corfu town, and at what time is the emergency muster likely to take place.

Many thanks.

It's normally about 1800hrs they will let you know when you are on the transfer coach, you can also get an idea from when the last flight is due in usually a couple of hours after that flight. Think you should be OK for a visit you can get a bus just outside the dock. Just a warning Corfu is the only port in all our years of cruising that we nearly missed the sailing, it was very bad weather and the town closed down fortunately we found a very good taxi driver who helped us out, it was the time of year you are going😎

Hi PC. looking at the airport arrivals at Corfu there is a  TUI flight from Leeds that should  have landed at 21-00 but as usual Tui are delayed and todays landed at 20-45 so i would imagine that the Muster for these passengers would be done on arrival at the ship separately in an unused venue?

Keep well.

When flights are arriving late in the evening Marella have no choice but to have the muster later on.  They do announce the time of the muster so we try to have dinner very early so that we are finished as many of the waiters have to be on muster duty.  It wouldn't be practicable to close the dining room.
