Other than location there is none that I am aware of.  At the current time the South Beach ones are not in what will be their final location, but they might be by the time you sail.

The advertisement reads...

*South Beach is currently in development and is scheduled to open December 2019; all features and timing are subject to change without notice. Images and messaging for Perfect Day at CocoCay may include artistic renderings. Perfect Day and CocoCay are registered trademarks of Royal Caribbean.

So that sounds about right...

Two days later they went up to $1299. I can’t imagine what they’ll be next week. For just a few hours?? 🙄

Yeah that's one way to look at it:classic_smile:   We have 1,320.00 total for 2 people on an 8 night cruise on Adventure in a couple months.  Everyone has different priorities for their $$$.

I just booked Symphony for June 2020 last week and saw the cabanas were $899. Two days later they went up to $1299. I can’t imagine what they’ll be next week. For just a few hours?? 🙄

The prices are dynamic and set by an algorithm.

If there are only two left on a sailing set the price to $899. If only one cabana is left set it to the max price. If no one is buying at the max price for a week, lower it a little. Close to sail date and still a lot unsold? Drop to the minimum price.

All done by computer.

I'd be surprised if there is a max price.

Does anyone know what song the new CocoCay theme song is based on? I heard a very similar song played in a shop a few weeks ago and don't know the name.

Is this it?  Just a guess.

Off the Mariner this morning as well, stayed on the ship. Had the pool and the pool bar to ourselves. Drink package included? Priceless.

Can you please tell me which dining venues were open onboard for lunch, when docked at CocoCay?

Was there more on offer than burgers, sandwiches, salads - like an actual meal? I can’t seem to find an answer for this.

So I cruise a lot on RCCL, just checking to see whats new on my cruise planner for my December Symphony cruise.

I tend to go all out, since it is a vacation.

I booked the Key, Specialty dining, adult beverage pkg, etc.

Back to the reason for this post.  Why is Cococay cabanas so expensive.

This is $500 more than my OV balcony cabin cost.

I would take that money and donate with a chance of winning to the Casino.

I realize they have to pay for this 200 million dollar upgrade somehow, just not getting it from me.

Each sailing and ship prices are different. Doing B2B and one is cheaper then the other, none my 3 sailings in 2020-21 this high

I think the $899 was too much. I guess it is all relative. Many people must still be purchasing, if not they wouldn't raise the prices. We were there on Mariner in July and did the water park and explored the rest. There is so much to do there even without the water park I don't think I would want to be tied down to a cabana. The beach is still nice. The bay is a nice calm beach area. The pool is great with plenty of in water loungers. Good food selections.

We were there last Thursday; it is likely the best private island by far of any line.  The place has everything you could want and more than enough chairs/umbrellas/drinks everywhere/food everywhere; pay for the water park and other stuff or not, makes no difference, Your nuts if you stay on the ship.  As far as cabanas who cares?  Buy it or not it's your money and the market will dictate price.  Just wait until December when the new beach club opens (saw the construction equipment/fences).  Can't wait for people to howl about those prices and then immediately pay to go...

I was on Coco Cay in June. It's a beach and a water park with a pool thrown in . I can stay on the ship and have it all to myself.  No interest in their private isalnd. Food/Drinks/Pool on board. Not nuts.
