You are in more danger in Miami during your pre-cruise stay than you are in Cozumel:

One big plus on this line for us was the eco-friendly measures that they have committed to taking especially when you look at what has recently happened with Carnival being fined millionsa second time for dumping tons of garbage in the ocean...and no kids.
