Royal Caribbean Dude,

Last month on Grandeur, I noticed that the woman who played piano in the Centrum, was also one of the sales personnel in  the shops. Is it common for entertainers/musicians to have a second job?  Is it required or do you folks do that for extra income?

Thanks and look forward to seeing you on mariner in a December

Hey guys!

So I have some exciting news!

I found out last night that I'm going to be transferred to Oasis Of The Seas in 3 weeks time. This is a big step up for me, and a lot more responsibility is going to be put on me - but I'm excited for this challenge.

I'll be flying out to Spain to join the ship, and then crossing back to America for the beginning of the Caribbean season.

Let me know if any of you will be on Oasis! I look forward to meeting you!

Hi Chris!  Congratulations on getting the Oasis, and thank you for your posts and vlogs.  It has been such a treat watching them and hearing your answers to questions we all have.  We will be on Mariner nov 15, but sounds like you will be headed overseas at that time.  Was looking forward to meeting you.  I have a question as I was thinking of doing a b2b... with a 4 night.  My question is the casino hours for slot play on the day you are In Nassau from 8 am-9 pm... and on CoCo Cay days until 5pm.   Any chance the slots are open while we are in port...especially on Nassau day, or do we have to wait until after 9pm to get in to the casino?

Yes I will be on Oasis. Shame we won't get to meet now.

Casino opens at 7pm in Nassau, and 5:15pm in Coco Cay.

I have a question, do you know if I can purchase onboard credit before leaving for my cruise, so that specifically once I am on the ship I can withdraw "cash" to use while in port.  I live in Ontario and will be cruising out of San Juan and don't want to travel ahead with too much money on me personally.  One person said that I could set up an onboard CASH account and that that would work.  She suggested I call the 1-800 number, which I did, and they told me "No".  However, she said she does this all the time, and has done this as recent as this past July.  Please help, if you can!

On board credit is meant to be used to buy things on board, not as a mechanism to get cash.  However, if you go to the casino cashier and ask for a cash advance (do not mention the word OBC), they should accommodate you, with a service charge if you used a credit card to secure your account.  Make sure you ask for cash because you want to play the live games, else they might give you a voucher for machines.

Still, the best way is to get off the ship and use an ATM.

That's great news.  I'll be on Oasis on the December 8th cruise.  I'll stop by and say Hi. I've been enjoying your CC posts and YouTube videos.
