debated on whether to do another live review from Allure. Realized its only been a year and a half since my last one.

 

and staying at the same hotel. But was going to be a different itinerary. Eastern. But now, maybe not. 🤣  So my goal will be only to report on “ things new” ..... and we’re off.....

Flight from O’Hare to Fort Lauderdale was fairly uneventful. Except that you now have to place  your “snacks” from your carry on and place them in a bin. 😳 when did this become a security thing?

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina is our usual spot. Posted lots of pics in my last review (old news) 

 

today we we watched a fishing charter come in. Thankfully I was a few hours post digesting lunch 😝

Thanks for bringing us along! That’s my dilemma too, to do a live on Harmony in a couple weeks or to skip doing a live this upcoming cruise. 😀 Guess time will tell in what I decide. 

 

In any event glad you decided to do another live. Miss Allure since sailing her back in May. 😀

Definitely recommend a tower room. If you are a Hilton Honors member, you can choose from available rooms via the app prior to check in. Even numbered rooms will get you a view of the port







But probably not best for light sleepers because of the road noise

Maybe. But after so many Western cruises, it would be nice to go East. 

 

I’m following, since my daughter is on this cruise. She’s happy, because she’s going on vacation. But this is, at least, her third straight Western Caribbean cruise. And she’s scheduled for another Western cruise in April. I don’t think she’s ever done Eastern. 

 

But that’s what you get for cruising during hurricane season. We leave in 19 days for our cruise. I just hope a tropical system doesn’t affect it....

 

I haven’t heard of a hurricane hitting Alaska. 

 

(However, I made a huge mistake of scheduling our flights so we change plans in Houston.)

Well, I had nothing booked on the Eastern itinerary. I was going to wing it onboard. The ship is really the destination for us this time. More on that later [emoji4]

But I’m scrambling a bit this morning. Just booked Nachi in Cozumel this morning. Working on labadee

Heading to the port now.

Have a great cruise regardless.  You are probably checking in about now.  We are hopefully doing the "other" Eastern  in 2 weeks.  The alternate doesn't seem bad at all.  As Bobmacliberty said, "no Nassau"Enjoy.  Regards, Gerry.
