“LIVE” From Allure of the Seas 8/25-9/1....Third time’s a charm?

More like waist deep. They are more of a "cooling off" pool and not a swim pool.

Waist deep is perfect! All people do in most Solarium pools is hang onto the edges & talk to others…. I have always wondered why the pool had to be so deep as sometimes the pool edges can get crowded leaving the pools centers open...but too deep for 5'4'' people (me)…. 😉

Did they have the chips out in the open or did you have to request them?  They were hiding them two weeks ago on the Harmony.

On the last day of our last Allure sailing, I discovered one of the “wonders”

Picked up a map at guest services, so I’ll be off on a a little scavenger hunt at some point this week to find the other 19 emoji847.png

Oooh. What is this?  Do you keep all of the items that you find, turn into guest services for a prize?

How crowded is the Solarium on Port Days @niksmom630?
And how was the crowd around the FlowRiders before Sail Away?
I will be on this ship this weekend !!

Here are a few pics of the Solarium today around 1 pm

As you can see, it’s pretty empty. Most people were in the pool, which is 3 feet by the way for the poster who inquired.

I’ll be honest, not a fan of the Solariums on Oasis or Allure. They are just HOT. The ventilation is just not great. It’s definitely different on Harmony and Symphony—cooler for sure.

I was in there 5 minutes to take a few pics and I’m sweating already. Even the main pools are fairly empty, or rather, there are plenty of open chairs

A few more pics taken from from the Solarium

Was kind of surprised the Solarium wasn’t open for lunch today. I remember it being open on port days on Symphony

These nooks are nice. They don’t have them that I recall on any other Oasis class ship. Near the Pool bar

The view from the nook isn’t bad either

No, much less actually. It was a crazy pricing fluke in my opinion. It was pretty close to what I have paid for a standard Oceanview balcony on Oasis class ships. Why I said it was my one and only CL Suite. Kind of like the $18 dollar a day drink package. 🤣

Wow ,that was a good deal, to good to pass up for sure.  You would think they could have made more money offering it to someone else using the Royal UP...............just how far out did you secure this cabin before the date of the cruise?

There was 5 weekends  in June and July that they had weekend specials on either the CL, Grand Suite or Owners suites for sailings in August and September.

Ugh, I hate all that glass windows in the Solarium. It’s got to be a hot house in there.  I really wish they’d just open it up to let in the nice sea breeze.

It is. The glass is definitely different on harmony and symphony.

Stopped by the last remaining diamond lounge on Oasis Class vessels that hasn’t been moved to the bowels of the ship. [emoji31] all of the evening festivities have been moved in totality to Blaze [emoji853] at least the mornings remain

Thank you for the pictures of Diamond Lounge.  I love that place...err... I loved that place.  Not looking forward to it moving.  Really stinks that they moved happy hour ALREADY!  Thank you for checking on that.  Really bummed.

Absolutely will! [emoji4] While I wouldn’t mind an extra day or two on board, I’d hate it to be at the expense of those of you on the next sailing. And we do have lives, commitments and jobs to get back to. Not to mention the cutest two pups ever [emoji7]
