Cab to Cane Garden Bay?

Will be on Tortola during our upcoming Breakaway cruise and interested in visiting Cane Garden Bay for our somewhat short time there (7-3).  Are there taxis that could get us there and back and is this feasible?  Our first time to Tortola and looking for a nice beach for a few hours of relaxation, eats and drinks.

Yes shared safari taxis or private van taxis are at the pier, shared taxi is ~$8pp each way...taxis line up to return you to the ship. 

 

I would suggest Myett’s/Pusser’s for a nice spot to rent lounges/umbrellas and have lunch...

Any information about snorkeling from shore at Myrtis/Pusser?

No first-hand experience, a CGB resident told me the snorkeling is pretty good out to the west edge of the bay where there are rocks if I remember...You’d swim out from the west shore, not sure how far out. I will look for that info, and  perhaps someone else here can give you more details.

 

Brewers is most often recommended for snorkeling, along with Smuggler’s Cove...
