Vanilla extract from St Martin

Does anyone know if you can still purchase the Vanilla Extract from Ma Doudou's?  It was home made and just the best!  She used to have a shop in the very mall where the  old yellow car was on display.  (sadly that car took a beating in the hurricane)  The last time we were there the shop was there but closed and I was hoping it might be re opened or in a new location.   Any information appreciated!

Is it possible to get there from where the cruise ships dock in Philipsburg? It's a bit unclear from what I can see, but I'd LOVE to get some rum from here and be able to do my activities closer to the cruise ship (rainforest adventures)!

I'm sure you could ... via a taxi !  I've Googled it and it looks like its about a 1/2 hour drive from the town of Philipsburg ...  Oh how I wish she would open a place right on the pier with the many other shops.  http://www.rhummadoudou.com/

Does anyone know how much a taxi to here would cost from the cruise terminal? This looks so interesting I'd love to go.

 

I'm thinking of taking a taxi here right when we dock, and then going to our other excursion at rainforest adventures (which if you've had any experience with that I'm curious about).
