Why do you think you should be able to park for free at hotel you are staying in a major US city?

There are hotels that have "Park and Fly" deals.   You pay for a night at the hotel and they offer free or reduced parking while you are away.    Its a legitimate thing.

OP search Park and Fly Boston.

There is an East Coast Departures forum with plenty of local expertise for it.

OK, where is the "free" breakfast next ??   Given the competitive hotel rates inside the better parts inside the city of Boston & their associated parking rates. To borrow NCL's themed marketing, "free" is never, never really free, IMHO.

We will be having our daughter wedding on The NCL Gem in May of 2020. We are looking for a hotel that we can stay at and leave our cars at for the week.

These programs do exist, just not in Boston Proper.   Given that you are from RI it would probably be better to all pitch in and split a big van service to and from your house.

None of those hotels would be "recommended" for cruise stays as they are by the airport and not really near the cruise, or in "undesirable" areas.

I strongly agree with these two comments.  How many people are you and how much luggage?

Chances are you would be enough people to overwhelm a park/sleep hotel’s shuttle service.  In addition you would be spending the precruise night in a 2*ish motel like place in Quincy or northeast of the airport, which is the complete opposite direction from Rhode Island and a PITA to get to.

Academy bus used to do the cruisebus from Boston to Cape Liberty and they operate out of Braintree.  Perhaps others have suggestions for a local charter company.

Consider parking at Logan Express in Braintree, take their shuttle to Logan, and then take the Free MBTA Silver Line to a hotel of your choice in the Seaport district near the cruise terminal.  Then reverse that to go back home (although the Silver Line won't be free in that direction, it is under $3/head)

Parking at Braintree is  only $7. per day. During peak travel weeks, they have offered reduced packages which  we have taken advantage of, especially around the major holidays. I use to buy the multi ticket LX passes - book of ten for $75., but they clamped down on using that same book # on each bus run, and then they started to "date" the individual tickets. I have a few here that have expired, and no refunds. The current price of the LX bus to/from the Braintree depot to BOS is $20 r/t for a senior, and $22. for adults, children under 17 are free.

Depending on our travel plans, we either park at Braintree and LX into BOS, or have friends drop us at the depot, thus avoiding the additional parking fees during extended trips. It's great that the bus schedule now runs every 20 minutes, too. Now if I could only get from home to Braintree via rt 24 or rt 95 without the mega traffic, it would be great.

In August 2018 we stayed at the Courtyard Boston South that had an escape-park here-fly there package that included shuttle transportation to and from the port as well as parking. Our car was parked right in front of the hotel entrance while we were gone. The package could also be used for trips to and from the airport.

Other hotels that had parking options were the Quality Inn Revere Boston Cruiseport and the Rodeway Inn Boston Cruiseport and Airport.

Good luck!

Just another thought...... Park at LX Braintree, not that far from the junction of 95 and then Uber to the cruise terminal. At least you'll still be south of Boston instead of adding another hour travel time through the city and its traffic to any suggested hotels in Revere, etc.  At least this method would not involve going to the airport for the silver line, luggage on and off, etc. Heck, there are hotels in the immediate LX area, too, Hyatt is on Forbes so it might be a good idea to check them out.

Again, as previously stated none of these hotels are normally recommended.

And it's a good thing your car was parked right in front of the hotel entrance. Not an area I would be comfortable leaving my car for a long term.

While the best place to ask this is the East Coast Departures board, what you are looking for doesn't exist in Boston. Parking at the port is easy.

it actually does--try Trinityreservations.com==Good luck
