What to do in Albany for the day??

We have never been to Albany, Western Australia before.

 

I was wondering would you recommend doing here for the day??

 

If you have been to Albany before, what things did you do there for the day??

 

Also does the cruise ships dock near the city? or do we dock a long way from it?

 

Any ideas / suggestions are very welcome 🙂

In Albany a shuttle is provided from the port to the town. It stops in the centre of town.  Right in front of this stop is the hop on hop off bus.  It will take you to their ANZAC memorial.  Definitely a must see for Aussies and Kiwis.

A visit to Whale World is a must.

Last time we were at Whale World, the guide glorified the killing of whales.  Never again, we walked out.

On our day there we pick up a local tour from the tourist information centre and did a tour of Albany, it was good 🙂
