Long Beach hotel w/ shuttle from LAX

I am looking for a hotel close to Long Beach cruise port that also has a shuttle service either free or low cost from LAX.  Anyone have any ideas?

We live in Long Beach.....you have so many choices here.   But you will need to pay for your own transportation from LAX it's not close.  There is a Marriott Residence Inn walking distance to the Carnival terminal or you could stay aboard the Queen Mary as well.  On the mainland across the bridge is Weston,  Hyatt,  Hilton,  Renaisance......many more.  The Hotel Maya is nice too very close to terminal.

No such thing as free. LAX is a long ways from Long Beach.

 

SuperShuttle is cheap, I think it's $17 a person, but after two people, Uber and Lyft are more cost effective and for my money, I'd spend a bit more for Uber anyway.

 

Once you are in Long Beach, you can walk from the Hotel Queen Mary, DoubleTree Maya and Residence Inn. Other than that Downtown Long Beach has many places.
