I just now scheduled an Uber for tomorrow morning... It said that my charge would be $9 and some change for the one mile ride to the transit station... I ended up cancelling, and will just call a regular cab in the morning... F#¢k Uber and their ten dollars for one mile trip...

Sid. I have been a lurker on your past reviews. Just spent 3 days reading all 131 pages of Your ATL thread.  Looking forward to following your Horizon Cruise.

Wow, you must've had plenty of time to kill... Thanks for joining along in the adventure...

Lyft only would’ve been $8.

Settling in for the adventure...wake up Sid!!!!

Most anticipated event of my year!

Anxiously awaiting:

First restroom pic

Hand drawn map

First sleeping person pic

First margarita pic

Total number of drinks during trip

Total number of pills/patches used (and usefulness of them)

Food porn

Shirt porn

Spider stories (maybe you will find him with your swimming trunks?)

And did I somehow miss the packing list and pictures??? That's one of my favorite bits, too! We will miss you over on the tribe for the next while, but I know we are all eagerly awaiting this cruise as much as you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

For the past two or three weeks, I've been using CBD oil to help me with my sleep... Technically, this is still forbidden according to the cruise line, but I'm bringing it anyway... The worst that could happen is that they confiscate it... I'm pretty sure that with the number of passengers they have to deal with, that my tiny bottle of CBD oil will get through with no problem...

What is CBD oil and why would it be confiscated?

Please forgive me for asking. I'm new and catching up. I've been reading your Magic review, not seeing any threads newer than that in you profile.  Is your necklace your "special lady" that you wish was there to enjoy it?

Really enjoying your reviews and your now-and-then comments that take me by surprise.  I'm looking forward to traveling with you on this cruise even though I'm not a tequila girl! 🙂  (I'm usually a wine or spiced rum girl, but I'm going to have to try some of those alchemy drinks on my next cruise in November!)

You're kind of playing with fire there.  I copy/pasted this from Carnival's website.  Not to start getting preachy on you, but they said "disembarkation".  It only takes one self-righteous person to equate your bottle of CBD oil to a smoking device.  I wouldn't want your cruise to end before it begins.  Would you consider taking melatonin instead?

With the legalization of marijuana use by some state and local governments, does Carnival recognize that some guests who might possess marijuana are not violating any law?

Carnival recognizes that some state and local governments in the U.S., and in the destinations we visit, might allow marijuana use. However, Carnival Cruise Line follows U.S. federal law, which strictly prohibits possession and use of recreational/medicinal marijuana and other illegal controlled substances.  Violation of this prohibition is grounds for disembarkation.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that went back to read it LOL. I'm on page 16 and hoping to be done by Sunday night 🙂

If tossing and turning were an Olympic sport, I would be a gold medalist... I did sleep for a good 4 or 5 hours, but after that, it was sparse at best... I finished the packing, and I'm about ready to get this party started! I will try to respond to some questions once I'm through security at ATL...

There are two newer than the magic reviews... You should be able to find them under my profile... Bliss / live / Solo and Breakaway / live / Solo... If you want the review that includes the full backstory on the necklace, that would be Vista / live / Solo...

Hi Sid- I’m one of your fellow lurkers/sometimes poster from your other thread.  I’m actually in the ATL airport as we speak, but our paths will not cross bc I’m already boarding my flight. Wish I was going on a cruise, but I’m on my way to see an ex-boyfriend from 18 years ago...we rekindled our romance over the summer so that has been interesting and fun- ’ll have to settle for that 😉!

Have an awesome cruise-I’ll be following along!

Wow! I hope you will tell us how that goes.  Sounds like a movie.
