Harbor House

So we’ve only sailed from Terminal 1 in Galveston and thinking of staying at Harbor House before our next cruise.  However, this one we’ll be sailing from Terminal 2.  I’ve never really paid much attention to the distance but does anybody know how far of a walk it would be from Harbor House to Terminal 2?

About another 1000 ft. +/- from terminal 1 to terminal 2. They are adjacent to each other. Google maps say 1/2 mile walk, 9 minutes, from Harbor House to Terminal 2.

I've been wondering this as well, is it a easy walk, or more beneficial to just take their shuttle in the am...

It all depends on how much luggage one is hauling and how confident one's ability to transverse 2500' +/- of sidewalks/driveways/parking lots while carrying and/or rolling luggage. I agree with the others, it is generally an easy, flat walk on paved surfaces. However, if a raging thunderstorm is occurring, the shuttle bus may be the more appropriate selection; the walk is not covered.

You could have someone drive you and luggage over, then driver goes back and walks over. We did this when we had a lot of ppl going. I wouldn’t recommend it if anyone has slight mobility issues.

Harbor House provides a free shuttle from the hotel to both terminals, which we’ve used twice to get on the Liberty.  Reserve the time you want at check in.

Its doable for sure ! But all relative to your abilities and nature and extent of baggage !
