qwerty11 Posted September 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2019 For the NOV sailing on Equinox, two weeks ago the rate included 2 perks, last week it was 3 perks, and now it is 2 again. Any chances they will extend it back up to three perks? This is for a balcony stateroom.
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2019 Only the shadow knows......... Seriously, no one here has any particular insight into how things will go at Celebrity. You may see it come back, you may not.
qwerty11 Posted September 23, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted September 23, 2019 Gotcha. Also, what does the "up to $300 in onboard spending" mean? That seems kind of arbitrary.

They usually vary the amount depending on the stateroom category you choose and/or the length of the cruise.

That is not correct. The 300$ OBC as a perk is a fixed amount across all stateroom types and cruise lengths. The "up to" comes from, I believe, the few cases of single travellers, as the perk actually gives 150$pp for up to the two first travellers in the stateroom, ie. 300$ OBC in total for a double/triple/quadruple-occupancy stateroom (and thus 150$ for a single-occupancy). 5 hours ago, qwerty11 said: For the NOV sailing on Equinox, two weeks ago the rate included 2 perks, last week it was 3 perks, and now it is 2 again. There may be a Black Friday sale, but that would be futile for you, since you would be travelling IN November, and such a sale would only be applicable to sailing after the promotion period. Rare cruisestitch Posted September 24, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2019 Mikkelhansen is not correct. Singles get the full $300.

Well, then the "up to" is completely redundant. The terms clearly state: "Each of the first two guests in a qualifying inside, ocean view, veranda, Concierge Class, or AquaClass stateroom are eligible to receive two amenities with the choice of a “Two Perks Included” rate: Classic Beverage Package, Unlimited Internet Package, $150 per person onboard credit (“OBC”), or Prepaid Gratuities." They don't state a fixed 300$ per stateroom. Sorry for the mistake.
