This fall they are also doing the baseball tryouts for next spring. Not exactly sure how it’s going to go, due to “politics”, but he has made the first round of cuts.  He should make it but you never know.  The final tryout is Sunday and grandma Sharon is taking him.  
 

This Saturday we spent 2.5 hours on the field to return to the arena 1 hour later for a hockey game.  And yes, for those who don't know, that’s arena snow, not remnants of a melted igloo.

 

 

In the meantime he has been busy at school.  He also represented his school yesterday at soccer, with their team coming in second place out of 6 teams. He also just got home from school today and informed us that he was voted to Student Council.

Already he’s having a great year!

oh my what restaurant was this in?  I am on Symphony in April.  Then again if you have a Genie, I bet I don't get to eat this since I am just in an inside cabin and only just a Diamond.  I will be a plus after doing B2b on SOS, then Empress, and then Odyssey.

Chops. Available to all who wish to pay. It was like a creamy sauce On the side  with a corn chutney on top of it. It was quite delicious.

 

On a sidenote I’m pretty jealous of your cruise calendar.

So my cough is still lingering, even though I feel better today than the last 12 days. 
 

Well anyway, I had a coughing fit right in the elevator and of course it was packed full. One lady was so close I could almost feel her butt rubbing against my, well… You get the idea.
 

Anyhow Lisa snapped this photo of her.  I think she’s afraid that she might catch something. 
 

Lisa should have told her that I have the Dengue Fever. They did just have another case reported in Miami.

As an interesting side note... at sail away we were chatting with a woman beside us. As it turns out she’s from Saskatchewan which is a Canadian province. It also turns out that she’s here to watch her son who is on the ice skating team, and he is the team captain. She’s pretty excited to be on board to see her son perform and we are excited for her.

Owen also had a hockey game today. They tied 4-4, after a coming back with 2 goals in the third. Owen got the tie goal. First point of the season for the team.
