One of the available excursions is for the above-mentioned trip --- have any of you done it & (I know nobody but us can decide) was it worth $550 pp?  Also, the description mentions the 'rapid' elevation change in a short time frame - did it bother any of you with COPD &, if so, how.  TIA.

We visited Copper Canyon on a landtour in various days. It is awesome, it is sometimes called the Grand Canyon of Mexico. Different however but impressive.

We boarded the train but with overnight stays which made it very comfortable.

I cannot judge about the "rapid"elevation if you do the tour in one day.

Be aware you will leave very early in the morning while depending the season  it will be still dark outside. The arrival back in Topolobampo will be again in the dark.
