Mexican Riviera whale watching

Yes, you can look it up for sure, but I think it's about January to March.  I know we went in mid-March and were able to go on a whale watching trip, but I think the season only goes for a couple of weeks beyond that.  I'm just not sure when it begins.  We saw plenty of whales when we went on our excursion and like it said, mid-March (happened to be our spring break).

In Puerto Vallarta the season is from December 8 till March 23. That is the time you will see organised whalewatch tours. Of course you might be lucky and see some out off season, but no  more organised tours.

We went last December with https://cabosanlucascruiseexcursions.com/excursions/private-whale-watching-and-coastal-sailing-charter/ . I think the season is Dec until April but I could be wrong. We saw so many, it was incredible!

Wow, We definitely have to do this next time

The whales begin arriving in Dec and start leaving in late March to early April.  January and February are the very best months for whale watching because of the number of whales.  These photos were taken in Cabo San Lucas.

Look at the size of the whale's flipper compared to the size of the boat.

Also if you whale watch in Cabo watch for seals on the rocks near the Arch after leaving the harbor.
