If doing next cruise Mexico it's hot and the humidity makes it seem hotter.

1st formal night 2nd sea day...2nd formal night sea day after Cabo

A hint if you have an inside cabin..if you split the beds with night stand in the middle it makes your room so much bigger and more room to walk in.

I've been on the Grand since 9-13, getting off 10-13 (plus sailed Grand many times) If you have any question I'll answer if I can.

Ooh I have a question for you, if you get bored, I would love to see if a certain pair of interior cabins at the back of Aloha deck have their doors together or not...it would be the pair of cabins A736 and A732 (on the port side, a few doors back from the exit door out to the Terrace Pool). Would love to see pics of their doors (and inside if happen to be open), or if no photo possible then just confirmation if their doors are next to each other or not. Thinking of a family cruise on Grand and need to split into two cabins. Thanks if you can!

Yeah, I've got a question: How do you get so lucky as to spend a whole month at sea? 😁

Seriously, thanks so much for the Grand update.  You answered all the questions I had, and some I didn't even know to ask.  Looking forward to our trip in a few weeks (after you're back shoreside).

We will be boarding on Thursday. We are having an informal Meet & Greet on the 1st sea day, (Friday) at 10:45 just aft of Club One5/Horizon Court on the Non-Smoking side. It would be great if you could join us as I'm sure we will have a few people with questions that you would probably be able to answer.

Thanks, Joe

Those two cabins show as next to each other on the deck plans, so I think they surely are. That would be normal for the cabin numbering on that ship. If you go to cruisedeckplans.com, there's a YouTube video of A732. Or just do a search at YouTube.

Although next to each other, it could be the bathrooms that abut or the entry doors.  However, the inquiring poster, @rocklinmom, is lucky that a video was posted.  I can tell that A732 has the entry door on the right and bath/closet area to the left as facing the cabin from the hallway.  Therefore, A736 will have its door on the left and the two doors will indeed abut each other in this case.

We were on the 9/13 sailing in Alaska - that has to be quite a change from the weather we had up there.

On sea days, is there any music playing around the ship during the daytime?

Besides bingo, sales/port talks, and comedy cooking classes (cynic in me says chef should stop the comedy and work on improving the dining room/buffet but I digress), what other daytime activities are there? We will be on the Nov Hawaii cruise and there are plenty of sea days.

Can you go in a bit more detail on how the dining room / buffet food is just "ok"?

Hello!!!! Can you please do me a favor?

Could you please say hello to Giovanni , the Head Waiter, in the Club Class dining room from Mr. Frank and Julie????

Also, please ask him if he'll still be there in end of January when we sail to Hawaii

We loved him!!!! He's terrific!!!

Hey thanks!!  We are on the 10/3 cruise as well and I have some up to date questions for you, in particular, concerning the Mexico sailings (vs the Alaska sailing).

My neighbors are traveling with us and want to pre-purchase the internet package.  Is it still so awful?  I know Mexico would be better than Alaska ... just want to warn her if it still isn't so great.

Also, are they selling the wine bottle packages onboard since we are on a 10 night sailing?  I've heard some ships weren't selling it ... hopefully, that doesn't spread to the Grand.

Please join us for our informal meet and greet as 'crusingpeople' suggested .. if you can make it.  And, thanks for the info!!

Okay, I am desperate to know if the Buffet is really going to close early.  I will be on the Grand in December.  I am an all-hours type, and the extended hours for the Buffet is one thing that keeps me on Princess.

Glad you liked my information about the Grand. Will answer some questions now and try to

get back on the others.

Dining..Anytime closes at 9 pm and Buffet at 10:30 pm..IC 24 hours as is room service

Casino..Is fine. liked this cruise very much won a big jackpot. Been lots of winners. Formal nights after

6 pm no smoking an a other night to. No smoking at tables at all. Lots of slots and table games.

There's music around the ship some in day time in the Piazza but mostly after 5 pm all around on deck 7.

Hawaii you will have a Hawaiian couple who will play music during the day.

Daytime..Different trivia's, sea crafts, different games, Can sigh up for singing.
