Half day tour in Auckland before flights?

We will be in Auckland in November and are looking for a half day tour that will pick us up at our hotel and drop us off at the airport after.  We will have done some sightseeing the prior day and a half.  On area we are interested in is Rotorua.  

Any recommendations of tour companies?

You can look at Tours by Locals.  Very reputable, I've used them all over the world with good results.  Not the cheapest option, but you can find a guide with a vehicle that can handle your luggage as well.  I've booked a half day with them during our in transit day in Auckland.

I am currently arranging a similar thing and I am working with Milestone tours. Chris has been very responsive and prices are reasonable.

I'm looking at the same thing for December.  So far I've reserved a spot at The Luggage Hotel on the pier and ride to the airport but it would be a lot easier to just take a tour with my luggage stored there. Anyone else getting off Golden Princess December 3rd?

As suggested I contacted Milestone. The website requires credit card before booking. They have not responded in days.  If they can't or won't book us, a response would be nice. So now my CC is out there and I don't have any idea if they are going to fulfill my inquiry.

Ewald at Milestone  tours was very responsive. We email chatted  several times before I booked anything. Sorry it has not worked for you.

Rotorua is too far from Auckland for a half day tour - it takes close to three hours to get there from Auckland.
