djb78 Posted October 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2019 FWIW, you don't need it. I just use faxzero to send in my brokerage statement, with the cruise details and my info on the cover sheet.

RjayB Posted October 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 5, 2019 Here is the easiest way: email GuestAdmin@Carnival.com Attach a copy of your recent statement, and enjoy your OBC!

I did a print to PDF of the single page that shows the stock and pasted asterisks over the id# then faxed it with my booking info. We use ringcentral at work so I didn't have to really print anything.

ohiowilly Posted October 7, 2019 #9 Share Posted October 7, 2019 I've used the email to Guest Admin for a couple years, and as recently as a couple months ago. My email was acknowledged same day, and the OBC posted to my sailing within 2-3 days.
Midwest Sunseeker Posted October 7, 2019 #10 Share Posted October 7, 2019 We got credit in May for June 2019 Holland cruise after emailing them. The conformation email said never email again always fax.
centralcalicruzer Posted October 9, 2019 #11 Share Posted October 9, 2019 I just faxed mine in today. With Princess I usually get an email right away acknowledging receipt of the fax, but I haven't received anything yet from Carnival. I can't remember how it worked out last year on my Carnival cruise, but I know the credit was applied really quickly. Where do I look in my online Carnival account to see if the credit has been applied?
pcvtmom Posted October 9, 2019 #12 Share Posted October 9, 2019 I always email (like in post #6), and I usually have it approved within 48 hours. I've been doing it this way for the past several years.

Press the "print" option (you dont need to actually print them) and you'll be able to see the credit.

Yes I have a cruise in November, emailed my stockbroker statement on 10/14 and had a response showing the shareholder OBC was credited today 10/16. There is no reason to bother with a fax. It seems Carnival’s preferred method of email but the other brands in the family prefer fax. Edited October 17, 2019 by xDisconnections
bigcartman Posted November 7, 2019 #18 Share Posted November 7, 2019 Thanks for the info and it did work however something that was in my email that doesn't seem to be included in yours was this line. Please be advised that Shareholder Statement must not be email due to security reasons, for future please fax or mail statement.
djb78 Posted November 7, 2019 #19 Share Posted November 7, 2019 And this is funny because they use a fax service that sends them an email with the fax image as an attachment.

lennythenose Posted November 7, 2019 #22 Share Posted November 7, 2019 I emailed mine on the evening of 11/4 and it was posted the morning of 11/7. I just went back to check and my email confirmation dies not include the sentence about faxing. I did black out all account info.
VentureMan_2000 Posted November 8, 2019 #23 Share Posted November 8, 2019 How many months in advance can I request the Shareholder OBC ? I have three cruises booked in 2020 -- May, June, and September. Can I request the OBC for each of the three cruises in the same request ?
Cafedumonde Posted November 8, 2019 #24 Share Posted November 8, 2019 We email carnival. 2 days. No problem. Mail princess. Takes 2 weeks.
Sparky2 Posted November 8, 2019 #25 Share Posted November 8, 2019 I just looked at my confirmation email from guest services for my request sent in on 9/14 for Journey's cruise in Feb. Yeah, $250 OBC. My confirmation says nothing about faxing it in the future. I know the Carnival stockholders info on their stock page no longer lists email #, but it's never stopped me from scanning my broker statement with the the pertinent info showing and sending via. email.
