Marvel Day at Sea - Magic

How far in advance before the sailing does Disney announce which sailings of the Magic will have the Marvel at Sea Days?  For those sailings that do not have the Marvel at Sea days, do they have Marvel characters at all on the ships for the meet and greets, or just the standard Disney characters?

They usually announce about a year in advance, but it's pretty likely to be a Marvel cruise if its a 5 day from the 2nd week of January through the last week of Feb/first week of March. There's no Marvel characters for adult meets otherwise, though there's occasionally a Dr. Strange and Thor event in the kids club.

 

FWIW MDAS is amazing. The deck show is incredible and we also loved the USO show.

on our Marvel cruise they had a meet and greet,(like the Princess meet and greet) you needed a ticket. It was Spiderman, Black Panther, Ironman, Groot. they also had other character meets, like they do with the Disney characters with Captain America, Black widow, Gamora, Quill, Loki etc
