hm9912 Posted October 28, 2019 #91 Share Posted October 28, 2019 Although we spent seven weeks and 49 days on the Royal Princess earlier this year going around South America, I was unable to make it to Antarctica. As others have mentioned it was quite a pricey trip with no guarantee of a refund if cancelled due to weather. The highlight for us was the Falkland Islands and able to spend time with the Penquins. Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted October 29, 2019 Author #96 Share Posted October 29, 2019 It's about a 3 hour ride to Torres del Paine and it involves crossing into Chile so we left at 08:00 . We did stop for a couple photos like these Rhea . The boarder crossing meant paperwork for both countries and being stamped in and out twice . We stopped near here for lunch
