Onboard credit

I usually cruise on Carnival ships. When I go to the casino I put my sea pass card into the slot machine and establish a casino account. I can then transfer funds from sea pass card to the machine. I will have about $500.00 in onboard credits that I want to use. When I'm done I transfer to my account. They have no tickets printed. At the end of the cruise I go to the cash cage and they take my sea pass card and cash me out. Is this how it is down on Royal Caribbean. I want to make sure I can use my onboard credits in the casino if I want.
