Buzios Beaches?

Are any decent beaches in walking distance from the tender pier(s) or do you need a taxi or boat taxi?

We had an amazing early beach visit. We hire a taxi with the help of their tourist reps near the pier.

He took us to the great beach I had picked and returned at the time we had set.

It was perfect we payed for chairs and umbrella had an early lunch of fresh fish.

when he picked us up he insisted on driving us around for a tour of the island.

Buzios beaches are stunning.  We did a house exchange there a few years ago.  I'm not easily finding this but I swear I read that Oceania shuttles people free to the center of town.  And there are some super restaurants there.  And I even remember a bar (what?  a BAR in Brazil?!?!?!?) that you went out the back door and they had chairs right on the beach.  Sorry I can't be more specific but TRENDs comments should help more than mine ::)

No need for a shuttle as you walk right into the main roads very pretty area high end shops and an amazing gelato shop.
