We have booked this cruise from Red Wing, MN.  Our TA advises that AQSC will not be offering a transfer from Minneapolis apart from the pre-cruise extension.  Red Wing is about an hour and a half to two hours from Minneapolis international airport.  There is taxi/shuttle service from the airport to Red Wing.  At the moment, the quoted rate is $180 for a six passenger vehicle.  Our tentative plan is to fly into Minneapolis, arriving late morning of 20 Sept.  Just wondering if, by chance, another passenger would have similar plans to make it possible to car pool to RedWing and share the cost of the taxi/shuttle.  Marshall

The pre-cruise shore excursion in Minneapolis is $299.00 per person.  The taxi/shuttle from Minneapolis airport to RedWing, in a vehicle that can handle 6 passengers, is $180.00 for the vehicle.

Just to update the original post, we have decided to take the train from New Orleans to 

Red Wing, overnighting there before the cruise.  Marshall
