Looking for Recommendations for Hotels in Miami Area

We are a group of 9.  Three families  including Grandparents, teenagers and kids.  We are looking for recommendations for Hotels in the Miami area for October 2020.  Interested in transportation from Airport to Hotel and Hotel to Port if possible.

We just need a nice, clean hotel to stay for two nights before the cruise.  Nothing too fancy.

Any recomendations?

Check out the Hampton Inn in downtown Miami.

Pretty good cost.  In walking distance of stores and restaurants and you can get different modes of transportation some for free to get around the downtown area.

From airport to Hotel and hotel to port you might want to look at a shuttle.  I would even call the hotel for suggestions.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Brickell last November and would happily stay there again. A big plus is the very decent included breakfast, which can make for big savings when you have hungry teens and kids.

Don't worry about transport. That will limit your search to poorly located hotels, especially for two nights.

Hotels in Downtown Miami and Brickell are good choices, Hampton Inn Brickell is very popular. For two nights many might also suggest staying in South Beach area as well.

We plan on staying at Hampton Inn Brickell.

Do you remember the cost of a taxi from MIA airport to hotel and hotel to port?

Excellent choice.

We did Uber from the airport to the hotel. It was $20.30.

And we used the shuttle service available at the hotel to go to port. That was $8 per person.
