No details or maps but on the World Cruises 2021 videos at the bottom of the Princess site there is the promo videos for the Fort Lauderdale departure on Island Princess and the Sydney etc departures on Sea Princess - helpful?

Have the itinerary - departing Sydney on June 3rd, which fits the return of the Hawaii 35 day cruise into Sydney - phew 😉

I know what you mean, since retirement in 2003 I have spent enough on flights, cruises, land travel etc to buy a couple of big Winnebagos.😮  

 

In my opinion you need more income money in retirement than when you were working as you have more time to spend it.  That is my experience anyway.

So they have incorporated the 35 day Hawaiian cruise in with the Worldie?  Smart thinking, ensuring there is a body in every bunk all the way $$$$$$$.  Everyone will 'Come Back New.' 🤣

This is quite common with the Hawaii/Tahiti and World Cruise overlaps. We boarded our recent Hawaii/Tahiti cruise in Sydney to join those that had embarked in Auckland, and the last of the World Cruisers disembarked two days later in Brisbane,

Thanks for this, once we had the correct dates it was easy to put this together. We get off the Hawaii cruise in Brisbane so will be sharing with excited “Worldies” from Auckland onwards.
Should be an adventure in itself 😉:

the quantity of luggage for a WC, type of luggage (boxes & suitcases), type of passengers - (young, old,  in between,), all NZ & Aussies or others? 🤔 it goes on ..... could learn a lot in a few days!

This year it started with the first Australia Circumnavigation which had embarkations in Sydney and Brisbane, then rolled into the first Hawaii/Tahiti cruise although I think NZers had to fly to Sydney to join that one. Then came the World Cruise with embarkations in Auckland, Sydney and Brisbane, plus sector embarkations, then the second Hawaii/Tahiti cruise which we were on. That cruise dropped off passengers in Auckland and offered a four night Auckland to Sydney cruise, and rolled into the second Circumnavigation cruise.

 

Princess does this with quite a few itineraries. Many of the short cruises between Sydney and Brisbane, or even Sydney and Melbourne are "attached" to longer cruises that have had multiple embarkation and disembarkation ports.

Clothing for a world cruise wouldn't differ much from a Hawaii/Tahiti cruise. Perhaps a few more warmer layers but that's all. But other personal stuff could be a problem ie toiletries etc.

 

The demographic would be very similar on a World Cruise as on the Hawaii/Tahiti cruises ie mostly retired folk. 

 

I'm sure you'll love the Hawaii/Tahiti cruise. It was one of the most relaxing cruises I've ever been on. Much to my surprise, after 35 nights, I still wanted more. Can't afford a Worldie though, they are just too expensive. It's cheaper to do three 35 night cruises and we probably will do another one in a few years.

Thanks for this, followed your comments on here while you were on board and read your review after this cruise. Love your honesty about the ship it is appreciated. Enjoy the smaller ships personally.

Looking forward to this one as DH has wanted to do Hawaii for some time now and it’s great to get him away from work for a while.

Go close to booking out in a few days considering 75% of the World cruisers on last Sea Princess Worldie were 'Elites.'  Pick of the cabins.  Someone can have mine, too expensive and too long for us little black ducks.
