Maui Car Rental - NCL Pride Of America

Was wondering if anyone can help me figure out if I would be able to make a 9:30 Pineapple Tour.  It says the Pride of America docks at 8:00am in Maui and we are renting a car from Enterprise (not the airport location).  Would we be able to get off the ship at 8:00am or do they not let people off  until a certain time?  We will then have to walk to Enterprise and hopefully the process of getting our car is smooth and it is about 20 minute drive to the pineapple tour that starts at 9:30.  Anyone have any input on this?  Thank you in advance!

Well you're making that you won't encounter any delays?    8am-  is typical for getting off the ship.    For Enterprise,  I'd say,  you have at least a 20 minute walk,  longer if you don't move along.  No guarantee you are going to be first in line.   Time involved,  inspecting car and paperwork???   Then 20 minute drive?

Only you can answer if you can make it??

Why don't you give the tour people a call and explain the situation?  They may be able to tell you what other guests have done and suggest what would work best for you.  If you are flexible, you might consider waiting for the next tour, which would get you back at lunch time (lots of fun places to eat in the area).  Upcountry is a great place to explore, and you won't have to hurry or worry about how long it takes to get the car, etc.  It's a relaxed place, and you can make a whole day of it just staying around here if you want (also less crowded than the usual tourist spots and a better glimpse of true Maui life - but we are biased since we live up here).  Aloha!
