Early saver vs Select price difference

Hi we always book a select price cruise when the brochure comes out every year

Usually the price difference after the discounts and with perks usually makes the price cheaper or same price as an early saver

But after looking at the latest brochure the difference is over £300 after discounts

We are booking at Baltic 2021 on Ventura and as we have a child we have a good idea where our cabin will be as there are only a few cabins with multiple occupancy so we are booking an early saver this year

Has anybody else noticed the difference this year

I have also noticed the same thing and on Iona the choice of dining no longer applies because it is all freedom so that is one fewer benefit that is important to many people. That said, I have just pre registered a suite for 3 people on Iona in November 2021and paid select in order to specify the cabin grade that has no suites at the front of the ship with metal fronted balconies. Very good price and £179 for person 3. It certainly seems as though the larger ships are considerably cheaper than the smaller ones which does appear to be logical.
