Yes we are on Eclipse so I guess we will miss the Revolution. I will have to check the schedules. The reason we booked and cancelled a previous cruise was the dry dock was in between our two cruises. I will have to stop by Future Cruises and see if they have released the Hong Kong to Singapore cruise we originally wanted.

Glad you are happy with the CS..light and bright with a means to block it, is good. Careful with the rocker...guess they were not all removed.

We will have a Sunset Veranda on EDGE...We .had an AQ Class IV last time. It was small except for the bathroom but we enjoyed it.

Can,t wait to hear more about your impressions of EDGE!

No rocking chair in our Sky Suite on the Sept 30 cruise.

I'll jump in here really quick...We were there in June. We walked up the hill with the donkeys (hot and really hard - but proud that I made it). After our wine tasting, we then walked down the hill back to the ship. Lol...really great wine tasting... Much easier than the walk up. You do have to make sure and give the donkeys the right of way. And be careful of the 'soft rocks' as you are walking (donkey poo). Some of the walkways can be slippery. If it had been rainy, I don't know if we would have walked down. But I'm so glad we did the walk down. We took our time and took tons of pictures of the amazing views.

Jim, I would advise making sure you do so while it is still light. We starting walking down at sunset and it was like someone flipped the switch. It was very dark and, because it is the path the donkeys use, it can also be very very slick with dung. I saw some pretty serious injuries because of slips.

It is totally true. And it can be challenging, especially at dusk.

I was thinking that the CS may have looked cluttered due to the way I shot the photo. I used Panoramic to get more of a wide angle view. So far finding things very comfortable and spacious. The things I like are two entries into the bathroom, the electronic thermostats, lights and Drapery Control that can be operated from your smart phone. There is a huge amount storage and even a coat closet at the entry.

I will list a couple unusual things that aren't necessarily negative but unusual.

There is no telephone in the living room (one in the bedroom and one in bathroom) also the phones don't have the display on them with the time of day.

The TV's are pointed in the same direction close to one another so often when you turn on or off the TV they both turn on or turn off.

There is no hooks in bathroom for towels. There are two on back of door for bathrobes.

The end tables in the bedroom are very small.

I'll come up with more as we go along.

I did read his wonderful reviews of his B2B on MSC. I think he raised as many questions as he answered. It seemed that he had some mixed feelings. After his review I backed off the idea of trying them but good possibility that if they had a good itinerary I might.

How about you? Would you try them?

It is actually very comfortable and I guess after the first day we learned and haven't hit our toes again. There is plenty of space to move it out of the way.

Hi Jim , lovely pictures of mt Edna it looked sunny and hot up there hope you enjoyed that tour 🌞your suite looks good, are you going to eat in le petit chef ? I have seen a video on YouTube about it and it looks a lot of fun it's a shame we don't have any land based restaurants here in the UK that does that .

I will have to listen. Yesterday (Tuesday) was a long day and we really haven't had a chance to explore the full ship. Today being a sea day will give us the opportunity to explore and enjoy Edge.

We have reservation for Eden - not sure if there is a show while we are dining.

It is Wednesday morning but I will try to finish up about our tour yesterday. It was a long day with 7.5 hour tour.

After visiting Mt Etna we visited Taormino, which is a really cute little village. It was very busy with most of the tours but was really a beautiful. The buses parked in a 6 story parking garage and once there we were given about 1 1/2 hour time to explore on our own.

While Etna was a really interesting place to visit, I think I would have preferred the Taormino on you own. The Drive to Etna was about 1 1/2 hours and another 1 hour to Taormino and another hour back to the ship.
