Check with your roll call as someone on that thread would be putting together the Meet and Greet. This is something that we, as cruisers, do. Princess Coordinators simply secure rooms and notify the onboard rep. It's still up to us to invite officers, make name tags and special interest sign up forms (ie: slot pull, Mexican Train, bridge, Mahjong, hiking, ect)

Every Princess ship can have a Meet & Greet but the passengers have to put it together.

Check to see if there is a roll call for your cruise. If not create one yourself.

Hi,

 

I will be on my 3rd Princess cruise in August (4th overall) and I have never understood why knowing who the Captain, ED/CD and other ship's officers are, is important (as well as knowing their contact information). I have always figured that they are likely to know how to do their jobs. And I can't imagine why I would ever want to contact them either before the cruise or during. 

 

Could someone enlighten as to why knowing this is useful? And do they actually respond in a timely manner to being contacted?

Meant to add: The Ship's M&G Coordinator is the one who secures the room, generally at least 30 days ahead of time.

According to an auto response I just got Craig Blish is the coordinator for Crown, Enchanted, Regal, and Ruby. But he's furloughed until November 30th. In the meantime email grouponboardservices@princesscruises.com for coordinators
