Carnival Paradise Room, Fun Times, Dinner Menus

My boyfriend and I sailed on the Carnival Paradise 10/21/19 out of Tampa. 

For the year and a half before this trip I searched and searched for these things with no luck, so I figured I would share for others.

Pretty cool.  I had to stop reading to keep some level of surprise for our late Dec Paradise sailing. 

 

How was the buffet?  (Seemed like very limited number of selections Sept on the Magic.)

How did you find the dining room service to be? Was the food served hot? Did you wait a long time between courses? 

 

Was it easy to find loungers available in the Serenity area?

Thanks for the post.  Paradise was my first Carnival ship. We are cruising on her later this month.

The buffet was meh. Not a ton of variety. 

If we ended up there I ate a tuna sandwich from the deli, which was fantastic lol or we ate at Guys.

Dining room service was good. Food was hot and we didn't wait too long. 
My only complaint was the chocolate melting cake! I only had one good one all trip, the rest were practically soup.

had the same experience recently with the buffet/sandwiches. 

 

6 day cruise and the highlight, foodie wise, were Guy's burgers and slices of pizza near the back of the ship.   I found MDR very decent, however.

I personally am not a fan of the pizza. Too soft in the middle. Not sturdy enough to eat one handed lol

Terrific Post!  We'll be on the Paradise in December.  Question??  Are the Playlist Productions an extra fee?  I noticed a "circled star" on the listing which states additional fees.  If so, what is the cost?

I'll be on her on the 12/12 sailing.  Really hadn't intended to book anything (it will be my 5th cruise in 12 months - 3 on MSC and just off Sunshine last Saturday).  I'll be in FL on the Gulf coast searching for a suitable place to retire and thought, hey, I may as well take a short cruise! 😁

 

I've sailed on Fantasy many times, twice on Ecstasy, twice on Fascination, and once on Elation.  I happen to love the Fantasy-class ships.  They feel like "home" to me after so many nights on them!  Have my favorite places.  I'm solo so booked my favorite cabin, a 1A aft on Empress where I can sneak up the "secret" back stairs and go right up to Serenity and/or the buffet.  And I love the outdoor seating the buffet.  I don't typically eat from the buffet (omelet or breakfast burrito); deli, burger, or burrito for lunch so the limited options on the buffet is never an issue for me.

 

I did have the new brunch menu on Sunshine.  I'd always ordered huevos rancheros in the past (which I love) but tried a couple of the new items and enjoyed them, especially the breakfast spaghetti!
