Devon to London to Heathrow in 2 days?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

We have just booked half world cruise,Sydney to Dover,  we are hoping to go into London for 2 nights then head over to Heathrow to flights home.

Where do I start? What should I know? Any suggestions on what not to miss in our short time there?

Cheers Deb

Bon Voyage for your half world cruise from Sydney to Dover.  What a wonderful adventure you are going to have.

There is lots of good information on this thread to give you a starting point.

What time is your flight from Heathrow to Australia?  If it is in the morning, you might like to consider staying near Heathrow and using that as your base.  I recently stayed 2 nights at Ibis Styles at Heathrow and took a local bus to Windsor Castle for the day.  It really depends on what you want to see and do during your brief visit.
