I saw the same thing initially, until I signed in, and then entered the number of passengers. Currently I'm seeing interiors, balcony, and minis available for both dates. If they didn't make you an offer of a free or discounted cabin, the cruises might just show up as being "sold-out".

OK, so you got the offer(s) and cabins show up ??? but I didn't and mostly showing SOLD ??? what a crock of ____, and yes, I'm logged in also ...

what a crock of ____,

The casino marketing department is making offers to certain players based on some sort of criteria, whether it be play level, location, etc. I'm not sure how that's a crock if you don't fit the criteria.

When I looked the other night, there were lots of balconies available for the 12/1 sailing. Maybe if enough people don't accept the offer, they will widen the scope of their criteria.

I will say that this is the first free cruise that Princess has offered me after 8 sailings, and yet I sailed with HAL once last January and get offers for free sailings on a regular basis. My wife and I play the same amount of $$$ on all sailings, and no, we're not big gamblers. We know when to walk away, whether we're winners or losers.

Sadly, this is very short notice for us, and $105 in port fees for Princess Cays seems silly when the port fees for our 10 day sailing next February, with stops at 6 ports including Princess Cays is just $159.50

I suspect the $105 includes more than the normal fees you see added to a cruise price.

The cruise fare that one sees really has two components in it. There is the basic cruise fare itself and there are also the taxes that USA courts have ruled must be included in the pricing and not added on later like the port charges.

So the $105 may also include taxes that are part of any quoted cruise fare before the added port charges/fees.

Did the phone call not give you details?  No call-back number in the email?  These offers usually come from Yield Mgmt, not from PCP, whatever that is

PCP = Princess Cruise Planner on Cruise Critic. It's the same as Princess Vacation Planner elsewhere.

That very well may be, but when all is said and done, this 3 day free cruise would cost me nearly $900 including the cheapest available flights from Atlanta. That doesn't even include a dog sitter!

Just an FYI cabins for the Casino are not the same cabins for the cruise. The casino is (on paper) is a separate operation owned by a different division than Princess itself (Carnival Corp as opposed to Carnival Cruise Line). When a casino offer comes along the cabins they offer are a block the casino operation has purchased.

The same thing happens regularly at some Las Vegas casinos. I frequently get free room offers for one or two even three nights. If I happen to want to stay longer I have had to change rooms from the Casino block to a room in the Hotel block. This is also different (in Las Vegas) than players club offers which are managed by the hotel not the casino.

It sounds confusing and it is but the bottom line is that the Casino has a limited number of cabins available that they purchased from Princess that once filled are"sold out" even though there may be cabins available on the actual cruise itself. Once more they really don't care about the fare class, they expect you to be in the casino and more than paying for your free cruise lol

The Princess website is down for maintence right now. I have been logging on each day trying to purchase something for my cruise, get as far as pressing the pay button and then "wait", no purchase made.

Is this their website or my computer causing this problem? Yes, I know I can call to order.

I'm able to get in and book excursions.  BTW my travel summary says that I have a $25 shore excursion credit. Is that my loyalty credit or is this something new?

Loyalty credit would not be labeled as a shore excursion credit which, by the way, is just OBC and does not have to be spent on a shore excursion.
