Taxi Question

Family of 4 wants to get to Sapphire Beach from the Cruise Ship.

 

$10 per person adds up to $80 round trip just to take a taxi.  That's insane.

 

Any other ideas?

If you’re willing to do some walking you could walk to the dollar bus route and take that to Sapphire.

The taxi fares are reasonable, but with one wallet it can be expensive for sure!!! I’m not a fan of the $2 taxi, only because we’ve seen groups passed by when the taxi is full. If you have enough time in port it is a more affordable way to go one way, then perhaps taxi the other...Just give yourself enough time to get back- we’ve also seen groups waiting in the heat at the top of the hill at Sapphire for the taxi back...only to get passed by because it’s full from Coki visitors...

A car rental is a good option if you won’t be drinking a lot as the south route is very easy driving...
