Now that the new TVs have been installed, are there still DVDs in the concierge cabins?

 I have something that I wanted to watch---

On the O ships  the player  was built into the TV

Some of the old TVs had built-in DVD players while others had a separate DVD player. The new TV system has "on demand" movies with a library size similar to the "on demand" setup on most international air carriers.

Marina  still had the DVD built in in April  this year

That is why I asked what Ship

 

I see the OP is on Insignia  so I do not think they have DVD players anymore  just  movies on demand

Yes on the Insignia ---but was told by O that there were still players on the ships that had the new tvs---this I doubt--

Sometimes those in H.O  do not know what is or isn't on the ship 😉

The new tv’s on the refurbished R-ships do not have a free HDMI-port. And they do not have a dvd-player. The list of on-demand movies is however large enough, with many recent titles.
