Nassau - Beach on our own

Hi everyone- I'll be in Nassau for the day in the next couple weeks and we'd like to get to a beach on our own instead of paying for an excursion through the ship since we're a larger group of 7.

 

Can anyone recommend a nice, easy to get to beach with lunch options close to the port? We're a group of adults, teens and a 4 year old so we're looking for the easiest and least expensive route.
