Next month we’ll be taking our first NCL in a long time.  Once on board are we able to get into our cabin right away or is there a wait?  Just trying to find out what to expect. Thanks! Carol

The ship kindly asks that you DO NOT access your stateroom until an announcement is made that they are ready. That announcement is typically around 1:30.

It is recommended that you check your large luggage with the porters at the curb and have a small handcarry with medications and essentials with you. General boarding starts before 11:30 and restaurants (including the main dining room) will be open for your dining enjoyment.

Most of the time cabins are available between 1:30 and 1:45, sometimes as early as 1:00.
