Is the food warm when you order MDR room service?

It is my experience, especially for breakfast, that the closer you are to the kitchen (aft) the warmer your food will be when it arrives.  The number of stops that the delivery person makes on the way to your room also matters.

Food from Room Service that was supposed to be warm has never been received "cold" only the degree of "warmness" varies.

We had very good luck with warm food delivered to the 7 deck midship.   The reason we started eating in the cabin was that we were assigned a 2 top upper dining room and the service was manic and the food was cold.  Plus we missed the sail out of Tampa.

Interesting.  We are usually mid ship (so not close to the kitchen) and it seemed like we were one of the first served.  They were at our door at the beginning of the half hour we chose.  Our food was always piping hot.

They do a good job on room service IMO.  We don’t use it a lot but when we do, we are always pleased with the service and heat of the food. 😉

I ordered it with MDR room service dinner on the Rotterdam in February.   Surprisingly it did come with mushrooms which we thought an odd combination.

It's odd but those look like some good 'shrooms.

That is one incredible evening ... just marvelous looking.
