Does the Senior Discount apply based on age at time of sailing or age at booking date?

Turn 55 in February & sailing in June-do we qualify?

There is no Senior Discount but there may be a Senior Rate. It is not offered on every cruise

Time of sailing. But very rarely does it apply.

I've qualified for the "discount" but I've never seen it actually discount the price you can get from other sales.

Allure January 5, 2020.

Oceanview with Large balcony went from $2787 to $2397

We are on the FOS week of December 1. All of our documentation from our travel agent shows Senior next to our name so I’m assuming we used a senior rate. I don’t know how much discount we received but received a great rate.

Senior Rates are spotty.  They're not offered on every sailing and sometimes are offered at the last minute, after you've paid your final payment.

We save $$$'s once a looong time ago with a senior rate.

We saved $671 with the Senior rate last year on the Radiance sailing from Honolulu to Vancouver.

I'm also helping friends for the Allure January 12, and with the senior rate for a 2C I've saved them 370$.

You get the discount, same as if only one is D+, you get the D+ balcony discount.

We got a pretty substatial ($300) discount on 3/15/20 Oasis sailing.  Booked three rooms - two rooms for adult kids - not seniors were $300 more.  Parents (who are in their 80's) got senior discount as well.

Fortunately the Military Discount has been returning lately, still hard to find, but received it on 3-4 Cruises last 4 yrs
