40+ Princess cruises but next one will be the first with Medalions. How do they load your “free play” and how do you use it on the slots?

You swipe it across the sensor as you would with your card.

It was pretty easy to use. I just came off the Sky, used Medallion many times on the machines, pretty much its a touch and pin # experience. If you get Free play, the cashier will place it on your account, find your machine, touch the Medallion to the pad and enter your pin #.

When you cash out after play, or go to the next machine, you hit the "cash out" tab, your amount gets placed in your virtual bank. Once you find your new machine, touch the Medallion, pin #, then enter "all" or a specific amount to play. Funds are now placed into the new machine that you are playing.

Always remember to hit "cash out" when you leave a machine each time.

At the end of the sailing, there will be a long line of folks cashing out their virtual bank. Princess does not automatically deposit your bank money back into your on board account.
