Anybody get an upgrade

I know it is very rare these days but does happen on some other ships has anyone ever had an upgraded cabin on Marella ? Never hear them discussed on the boards. Just curios.

After many cruises never had an upgrade. However the ships are usually full but not sure whether they would upgrade even if they had spare cabins.

Had one on our first cruise on Destiny to a suite fifteen years ago then about ten years ago on Spirit. Nothing since😞

Had an upgrade several years ago with Thomson when we arrived on the ship to find someone else in our cabin. Got upgraded from an outside to a deluxe for the inconvenience. Thomson / Tui / Marella don't usually do upgrades or recognise returning guests except for the last few years when they have a bit of a non-event to welcome back returning passengers and you are given a glass of fizz and a silly little badge.
