Time needed for arrival process at FCO

Most of the shared shuttle services will monitor the status of your flight, and know just about when you will arrive.

The hangup is always bag claim. I would figure 45 minutes from parking at gate, to standing outside the building with your bags. In our several trips to FCO, it has never been less than 30, except the one time we did carry on only.

When scheduling transfers from FCO, I usually ask for a time that's about an hour after arrival. As the above poster says, most services will ask for your flight number and will monitor your flight; however, some do not guarantee pick-up before the time you provide. (That said, I was about 30 minutes early to my meeting spot last week at FCO and my driver was already there waiting.)

Just FYI, the reason I was early was not so much the fast process at FCO (although it went smoothly), but the fact that our flight arrived 20 minutes early....
