Sometimes Cruise Ship casinos pay out

Hit a runner-runner royal flush in ultimate hold em on the last night of a 4 day cruise on Independence of the Seas last week. sad to learn table max layout was $40,000. Never thought to look before.

but damn..the trips pay schedule is the worst I’ve EVER seen (7/6/5)..previously when CCL has UTH, they had the one of the best (8/6/5)..but alas they sold out to the game that never lasted in land based casinos (Texas Hold Em & Fold Em)

I absolutely lost it. They drop turn and river together. Table max was $40,000.00. Felt weird to walk off ship with that much cash

Unfortunately you lost out on about $15k because of said table max payout 😞

Congrats.  I feel your pain on the table max issue.  My 1st (and only) 5 card Royal was on the Grandeur 3-card table on the 6-card bet.  It was 1-2 months before they changed the table max from $5k to $40k.  I am still trying to get another one.  I have seen a few 5 card straight flushes though.
