What is latest info on Crab Shack?

A few weeks ago I noticed a post indicating that the Crab Shack was being offered for lunch. I hope not. What is the latest on it?

Do not know, but why should that be a problem.  If you don’t want to do it, just skip it

I have had it in the past but it is too much food for lunch. I want it for dinner.

Crabshack was offered on CB and it was at dinner;  it rotated with Planks

On our recent Hawaii cruise r/t San Francisco, the Crab Shack was offered at lunch.

Currently on Sky...no Crab Shack but on some evenings they’ve had either Planks BBQ or  Steamers Seafood for $12.

Crab Shack:

 Coral, Crown, Golden, Grand, Island, Regal, Royal, Ruby, Sea, Star Princess. 6:00pm–10:00pm, Onboard reservations accepted only $29 per person

 

Steamers available for dinner on the Carribbean, Emerald, and Sky

Interesting.. Is the Sky offering both Planks & Steamers on different nights on the same cruise?? Sounds like a nice alternative to the usual fare offered...

yes on CB they had planks opened one night then steamers the next night.  They alternate since they both use the same area; far aft end of horizon court

When we were on board the Caribbean in August both the Planks side and the Steamers side were open every evening. A couple could sit on either side and one could order from the Planks menu and the other from the Steamers menu. The seating areas are not shared. Maybe it's a kitchen or waiter thing,  or maybe it's just not enough business to keep both open every evening.

skynight;  I think you are correct; there was not much business in either place;  so maybe on our cruise they alternated the nights they were open
