the waiter asked how we liked our meal, we said it was awful and he noticed all the oil. Trust me the picture doesn’t do it justice.
came back and said he told his boss.
his boss never came over.

A picture says a thousand words, and I'm sure the Princess folks that browse this board will pass your picture on, and someone will be reminded on how to give good customer service. The veal ravioli in cream sauce was the best thing I ever eaten on the Royal Class ships. It's a shame that I haven't seen it elsewhere on the fleet. I would have sent yours back immediately.

Happy the food was amazing in the Sanctuary because last night’s dinner at Alfredos was pretty disgusting.

that pasta is supposed to be a cream sauce. Have had quite a few times, this time it was an oil slick. Pizza was burnt and hard. It would crumble when you took a bite.

Hi! Been following along this thread (and...probably maybe all the other live Sky threads that have existed) just to quench the curiosity from afar. I noticed you all kind of just did a drive-by along Princess Cays and didn't actually get to stop and go on shore when I checked the bridge cam. Probably the winds making it unsafe for tenders? Definitely safety is #1 but hope everything's still going a-ok with everybody & the trip! Cheers!

Could you name the other dishes, so folks know what they're looking at?

The puff pastry done was the seafood bisque

the one with the egg, is a Florentine   Peaches egg over spinach and Comti cheese.
The scallops are with a burblanc sauce.
Then the filet. I would ask for less sauce next time, that’s the only thing I would change about it.

yes. No princess cay. The Captain came on at 7 am and told us all that was going on. They did try to get a tender from the island over, but it was a no go.

I feel badly as my parents missed that on their only princess cruises years ago and were looking forward to it. Ans they took the egg drop off too add other things today. 😞

We had stopped at Alfredos to see the god coming out. We didn’t go in and the manager asked us “did we not like the menu”. We told him about last night. He asked why didnt let them and we told him we we were truthful with our server. We also told him we don’t like to complain.

after showing him the pictures,  he brought the head chef over. They have apologized And said to give them another try. That the only way they can better themselves in to let them know. While there, someone else had the pasta and returned it.

I’ll try it again tomorrow night.

I'm sorry, but at some point someone should have looked at your pizza and pasta and decided to not serve them.

Why serve something that you know looks wrong!?

The most charitable thing I can think is that with a brand new ship, perhaps the ovens were new, and the cooking staff wasn't used to their particular settings? *shrug*

Otherwise, you're absolutely correct. If you don't tell them when it goes wrong, they have no way to know that there's something to fix.

We loved La Mer on the Majestic too.  On that ship it was Lobster Bisque under the puff pastry and was yummy!

Glad you showed the manager pictures of your food at Alfredo's but it's disappointing that you were challenged.  That isn't a good sign.  I do hope that someone from Princess is reading these posts as serving poor meals from one of the most popular dining venues on other Royal class ships is not a good start for a brand new ship.

Wow Alfredo's is looking disgusting! Hopefully it greatly improves over the next couple of weeks. I was raving to my daughter how wonderful Alfredo's is and how I can't wait for embarkation lunch on the 21st. She wanted to do the dining room and I talked her out of it. She's never done a Royal class ship let alone one that is so new.

Hysterical show last night with a female impersonator called Ms Champagne.  Standing room only and many seemed to love the show. It really was funny.

Sitting on the dining waiting to be escorted off and back on. They haven’t been able to get all the passengers off as some are straggling.

new dessert in crown grill which was nice for a change.

Can anyone tell me if any of the Bars have televisions, like to show sporting events?  I realize they have big games on MUTS and we can get TV channels in the Cabins, but would like to sit in a pub area and have a few drinks while watching the game.

Thanks in advance!

That was a big fail at Alfredo's for you guys on many levels. That should have never left the kitchen.

Our lunch at Alfredo's was the usual good food on Monday.

That’s good to hear. We are going to try it again tonight.

Tomorrow we are going to the French place again.
